Where Quanteam UK come from
Quanteam UK were founded by Antoine Ducher, who holds Master’s degrees in Nuclear Physics, Mechanics, and Corporate Finance. Between 2001 and 2009, Ducher worked on the trading floor of a major French investment bank, progressing through roles spanning tactical development, front office support, market making, and risk management across all business lines. The breadth of that experience – technical, quantitative, and commercial – shaped the model Quanteam UK were built on.
Quanteam UK were incorporated in 2007 and launched in London in 2010, with a specific mandate: to bring specialist consultancy expertise to the investment banking market, with a focus on quantitative finance, crisis and risk management, and the technology challenges unique to financial services. Fifteen years on, that mandate has not changed.
