Introduction
This statement sets out Quanteam UK’s actions to understand all potential modern slavery risks related to its business and to put in place steps that are aimed at ensuring that there is no slavery or human trafficking in its own business and its supply chains. This statement relates to actions and activities during the financial year 01 April 2025 to 31 March 2026.
As part of our business activities, we recognise that we have a responsibility to take a robust approach to slavery and human trafficking.
Our company is absolutely committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in its corporate activities, and to ensuring that its supply chains are free from slavery and human trafficking.
Our responsibility
Quanteam UK Ltd acknowledge their responsibility to the Modern-Day Slavery Act 2015 and will ensure transparency within the organisation and with its suppliers.
Quanteam UK are committed to act transparently and disclose information about any modern slavery risks it has identified and what actions have been taken in response to them.
Relevant policies
Quanteam UK’s Code of Conduct in which the Company commits to respect human rights (including those relating to modern slavery and human trafficking).
This Code applies to all Quanteam UK’s employees. In addition, the Company expects its suppliers and those with whom it conducts business relationships to implement practices that are, or aim to be, consistent with this Code.
We also operate in accordance with the following policies that describe our approach to the identification of modern slavery risks and steps to be taken to prevent slavery and human trafficking in its operations:
Whistleblowing policy
We encourage all our workers, customers, and other business partners to report any concerns related to the direct activities, or the supply chains of, our organisation. This includes any circumstances that may give rise to an enhanced risk of slavery or human trafficking.
Our whistleblowing procedure is designed to make it easy for workers to make disclosures, without fear of retaliation. Employees, customers, or others who have concerns can complete our confidential disclosure form available on our website. Any raised suspicion will be investigated properly in accordance with our Whistleblowing policy.
Employee code of conduct
Our code makes clear to employees the actions and behaviours expected of them when representing our organisation. We strive to maintain the highest standards of employee conduct and ethical behaviour when operating abroad and managing its supply chain.
Supplier code of conduct
We are committed to ensuring that suppliers
Also adhere to the highest standards of ethics.
Suppliers are required to demonstrate that they provide safe working conditions where necessary, treat workers with dignity and respect, and act ethically and within the law in their use of labour.
We work with suppliers to ensure that they meet the standards of the code and improve their worker’s working conditions. However, serious violations of our supplier code of conduct will lead to the termination of the business relationship.
A sustainability assessment is done for every new supplier during the on-boarding process, which includes acceptance of our Code of Conduct. This prohibits slavery and human trafficking and requires them to take proactive steps to ensure that slavery and human trafficking do not occur in their operations or supply chains, and the provision of evidence of their sustainability processes and policies.
Process we followed to implement the code of conduct in relation to slavery and human trafficking is as per below:
- Assessment and Risk Analysis which includes mapping our supply chain, identifying high risk areas and considering geographical locations with a higher likelihood of issues.
- Policy development: Develop a comprehensive code of conduct that explicitly addresses slavery and human trafficking and make sure it is compliant with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and other relevant UK legislation.
- Communication: Communicate our code of conduct to all suppliers and request their commitment to it before starting a business relationship.
- Due Diligence: Assess suppliers’ policies, practices, and procedures for identifying and mitigating slavery and human trafficking risks. Request relevant documentation from suppliers, such as audits, certifications, and self-assessments.
- Monitoring and Auditing: Regularly monitor and audit supplier performance against our code of conduct. Identify areas of non-compliance or potential risks. Take corrective actions as necessary.
Due diligence
We recognise that our supply chain contributes the greatest risks for Slavery and Human Trafficking and as such, our relationship with our suppliers and partners is a critical part of our commitment to eliminating modern slavery.
We undertake due diligence when considering taking on new suppliers and regularly review our existing suppliers. Our due diligence and reviews processes include:
- Mapping the supply chain broadly to assess provided services or geographical risks of modern slavery and human trafficking.
- Evaluating the modern slavery and human trafficking risks of each new supplier.
- Reviewing on a regular basis all aspects of the supply chain based on the supply chain mapping.
- Conducting supplier audits or assessments, which have a greater degree of focus on slavery and human trafficking where general risks are identified.
- Creating and updating an annual risk profile for each supplier.
- Invoking sanctions against suppliers that fail to improve their performance in line with an action plan or seriously violate our supplier code of conduct, including the termination of the business relationship.
Training
We require all staff working in HR Department within our organisation to complete training on modern slavery and human trafficking during the onboarding process and at least once a year.
Our modern slavery training covers:
- Assess the risk of slavery and human trafficking in different business aspects.
- Recognise signs of slavery and human trafficking.
- Take immediate steps when suspicions arise.
- Escalate issues internally.
- Seek external assistance if needed.

- Address non-compliance in high-risk situations

- The basic principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015
- How employers can identify and prevent slavery and human trafficking
- What employees can do to flag up potential slavery or human trafficking issues to the relevant parties within our organisation
- What external help is available, for example through the Modern Slavery Helpline.
